NAST Aerobic AST Kit Troubleshooting & FAQs

The NAST system offers an all-in-one solution for antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) by integrating microfluidic technology with an automated detection instrument and specialized reagents. It generates reports to guide antibiotic therapy and reduce resistance risks. It provides automated AST for animal samples. It evaluates the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and reports the antimicrobial susceptibility categories as fast as 6-32 hours (average: 16.5 hours). It uses microfluidic technology for fast and accurate susceptibility assessment.

The NAST system is suitable for use in general veterinary clinics and animal diagnostic laboratories. It provides rapid guidance for selecting appropriate clinical treatments. It is not intended for diagnosing infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, fungi, or viruses.

The NAST system provides a faster and more convenient alternative to traditional AST methods, such as disk diffusion and broth microdilution assays. Key features, including rapid analysis and user-friendly operation, significantly enhance efficiency and usability.
